Tried implementing LOU2's screenspace rain drip simulation :p
Not sure how they handled character animation, rapid movement seems to add quite a lot of noise to the trail path :(

My time with Siege might be coming to an end soon.
This game has become my job, one that I loved, but now no longer like.
I made a lot of new friends, experienced things I never would have before and for that I am eternally grateful.
My feelings towards Siege have simply been putting up with it for the past few years, in hopes of it being better, in hopes of finding the upside. Siege X was supposed to be that upside, and we know how that went. I can't hold out hope forever.
I've slowly distanced myself, have started working on other projects, and am actively searching for new pathways for myself.
The past 10 years I've been apart of this community, and I wouldn't change that for the world, but we must continue to grow and move on with our lives when we feel the need to.
This post is just a reflection of how I'm feeling internally. I'm not leaving yet, but I don't blame anyone who is. And if there's one thing I know, it's that there is a whole lot more to life than Rainbow 6 Siege.

Forgot to mention: I've been playtesting and giving feedback on the game throughout the development process. It's been extremely fun and the team is absolutely stellar

This game is something very special. The small team at Back Pain Games has been building what I would call the spiritual successor of R6. This game could take this genre that we know and love to the next level. And with the #SaveSiege movement, it couldn't be at a more perfect time. (link below)

@ix_lemon These opening shots are absolutely real life footage. They even said in the showcase that the "...game starts here" in reference to the actual gameplay being shown when Sam and Lou are on top of the mountain.

So, I'm adding a new anti-aliasing method to #UE5 called "Conservative Morphological Anti-Aliasing 2" (or simply "CMAA2").
Besides retaining the sharpness of original image, it also looks great in motion.

Recently I saw the success of a game about digging a hole, 2 days after release game have 2k reviews on Steam. I read at @80Level that the author made the game in 3 weeks... I think if it's Unreal Engine 5 then it might be Geometry Script plugin + Generated Dynamic Mesh Actor

@ThomasAPanish Yes! It was amazing tutorial. I've tried to recreate some of the elements from the video, but some of them are made completely different technique and some things are added extra :)
