I don't care for the tribalism.
Anti Trumpers are calling this "cope" because in their minds Trump can only be a retard.
However the real critique here is that, assuming its correct, Trump is sacrificing the quality of life for Americans in order to cause more harm to Iran and China.
I suppose however the argument is that the US, whether it be Trump's idea of the Intel agencies, is incapable of planning several moves in advance and is beholden to Israel thus we are in a war for no reason at all.
As if the "deep state" hasn't been coordinated in its efforts.
Maybe its all one big blunder, surely, but I find it silly to think the entire US military apparatus just does things accidentally or on a whim.
Either way, there is a larger move being made that we can't see. We can only guess at what it is

I think its possible the shuttering of the Strait of Hormuz was the intended condition. I did not come up with this idea, but with US crude pushing record levels and China livid after getting cut off from a major supplier there are some things to consider. Trump can't come out and say "we went to war over oil" so we get a handful of excuses like Nuclear weapons or human rights abuses. The war is driving up gas prices in the US and people are pissed off. The Trump admin can't just come out and say "we are intentionally mkaing it hard for you so it will be harder for China" The idea is that Trump is taking a hit to the US economy in an effort to bring an even greater hit to China and other debt holders or adversaries. Considering that the US responded recently with a blockade of the strait I think this is a reasonable conclusion. x.com/Timcast/status…

If Congressman Swalwell has not resigned with the Clerk of the House by 2 PM today, I will continue my resolution regarding his expulsion. His statement about his “plan to resign his seat” is not binding and is wormy. The same goes for Tony.

I support the ethics committee’s investigation and believe Eric Swalwell is no longer fit to be a Member of Congress. He should be expelled from Congress.
I want to be clear: I had no knowledge of the allegations of assault, harassment, and predatory behavior against Eric Swalwell.
I trusted someone who I believed was a friend, but it is now clear that he is not the person I thought I knew.
The women who have come forward have shown courage. They deserve to be believed, to be supported, and to see justice served.
