Lets analyze this. 23:24:51 The network sees block 104870 23:24:51 i create a blocktemplate 104871 ( like a normal miner, i directly mine the next block and do not wait ) 23:25:19 i solve and publish 104871 23:25:21 remote miner creates blocktemplate 104871 just 2 seconds later, thereby refusing my block 104781 and orphaning it. ( remeber: his delay from receiving 104870 at 23:24:51 to creating 104871 is 30 seconds!!! this is an unlikely lag and seems highly intentional ) 23:25:56 the remote block 104871 is accepted by my node and the network

51% attacks have arrived on @fractal_bitcoin . I have proof that over the last days, many blocks were re-written and one miner for example mined seven blocks in a row. This damages smaller miners who solve sinlge blocks as orphans. This damages users as the order of transactions like #BRC20 , #Inscriptions , #Runes and #Ordinals can be re-arranged or frontrun. ( A double-spend attack is unlikely when you wait for enough confirmations. ) Its just very dangerous when the hashrate is so low in comparision to the number of sha256 miners out there. My wish: Implement a strong 51% protection. My proofs: Block 105215 to 105217, orphaning my 105216 Block 105208 to 105213, orphaning my 105208 Block 104871 to 104877, orphaning my 104871

Nodes are back online - Interuption took 90 Minutes. Reason was a proxmox node expansion, which took the cluster out of quorum. Here a hint for everybody in the same position: don't restart multiple nodes at the same time. Call this on one node at the time and then wait until sync members increases systemctl restart corosync && service pve-cluster restart && journalctl -u corosync -f | grep "Sync members"
