Constrain a RectTransform in the viewport. I had to make this multiple times and this is the best way I've been able to do it for now. Here for posterity or maybe later use

btw I have a tool to quickly make decals from selected images. with the correct aspect ratio
only uses hit normal now, will also need to use the camera rotation to determine rotation better. will share when its final
I've not been very present lately. It's because we have been deeply focused on preparing a Godot curriculum for schools.
I'm really proud to say that a handful of public high schools in Sweden and the US already replaced Unity with Godot, using our curriculum, even though it's still very early in development.
