Well done to Independent Ireland Noel Thomas who in the end, sadly became a victim of the voting system.

@DonaldClarke63 Totally Donald. Let's view it as a film. Not as some type of propaganda. I look forward to seeing it.

Jesus Christ. The moronic discourse about FJORD is *already* insufferable.

Have always held @gregallenRTE in the highest esteem. His ability to channel his knowledge, enthusiasm and passion into informative, engaging and seemingly effortless broadcasting is his real talent.. Rightly recognised as the best of us by @iresport 👏👏👏👏👏

Nonsense and serf-brained news headline. The head of state of Ireland meeting the head of state of Britain is absolutely right to meet as an equal. She did grand. Have some self-respect!

Delighted to be nominated for 3 justice media awards including the 11 year investigation that led to the country’s first ever mass exhumation at Tuam, the landmark case taken by 2 survivors who challenged their exclusion from the redress scheme and the DV case of James Shey Ryan

If you’ve had a stroke, or know someone who has, or know people who work with stroke rehab, read this. It’s an awesome description. I’ve had two friends going through the stroke rehab, Philip is one. So proud of him and of his generosity in adversity.
Philip Nolan@philipnolan1

Here’s the third and final part of my stroke journey, from today’s @IrishMailSunday, on the weekend of the first anniversary. I’ll stop banging on about it now. 😊

@LNBDublin @caulmick In truth I don't know much about those you mention. However in my world diversity of voices is important. So the general point you make is very valid.

@BrigidLaffan My father’ dad unfortunately had passed in 1919. My dad was born 5 months later. All three remaining grand parents accounted for.

@ThomasGaravan I have managed to trace three of my children’s grandparents but strangely no record of my mother and her family. I have tried every version of O’Connell in Irish and English-no luck.

This is the 1926 census recording my father at 4 and his mother who was already a widow at 38. Very poignant- my father always said that he never enjoyed Christmas until he was married and had his own family

Was asked recently why I didn't use an AI agent to write a document. My response was that writing clarifies my understanding of an issue, allowing me to foresee potential issues. AI is going to turn us into brain dead lard balls.

This is a beautiful & perceptive article on Delores Keane-it shines a light on the land & society that she emerged from & her unique contribution. Dolores Keane suffered but knew where she came from. @galwayad @declanvarley .
Ciaran Cannon@ciarancannon

Some truly beautiful writing from @declanvarley in the @galwayad today, on a remarkable life lived by Dolores Keane. “For Galway, her loss is not abstract. It is local and intimate.” advertiser.ie/galway/article…
