In fairness to @AGAlanWilson, when his office declined to seek the death penalty against Alex #Murdaugh in 2022, South Carolina was in the midst of a 13-year moratorium on executions. Capital punishment resumed in September 2024.

What might be true, however, is that those corrupt forces tried to get our President to attack me. The most conservative groups and individuals in our state support me because they want to end the culture of corruption. They are working hand-in-glove to try to get the White House political team to protect Pascoe, who is deceiving voters daily by pretending to be a Republican when he’s always been a lifelong Democrat. In what world are you MAGA or Conservative? You aren’t. And you indicted Trump’s South Carolina director after the 2016 election. Everyone who pretends to be “MAGA” who claims you pass the smell test are the real grifters. They will be exposed too.
