My grandma is expected to pass away by the end of this week. I have so many different emotions. She has not had the best qualify of life for the past few years and I am sure she desires to be reunited with my grandpa, but it is still hard to know she will be gone soon.

Let's be clear. Catholics are Christians. Orthodox Christians are Christians. Conservative Protestants are Christians. Mormons are not Christians. Jehovah’s Witnesses are not Christians. Anyone who does not believe in the deity of Christ and the Trinity is not a Christian.

wearing a cross, and not a crucifix, is prot coded. dare i say even jewish. we do not celebrate the bare weapon they used to kill him. we celebrate the man who suffered and sacrificed his life on it for our salvation. a bare cross isn’t blasphemous but it’s giving unserious.

Today in Gospel Doctrine, I discussed the importance of place.
Where the First Vision happened matters. It couldn't have happened just anywhere. The culture, the events, & the people in the Palmyra region all influenced & nudged Joseph Smith to the Sacred Grove.
