@lukeiskobe You 100% can challenge before the ball is inbounded, just have to call a timeout before you can challenge a call. Mitch didn’t call one and just twirled his finger.
English

@Thunder_UpOKC I could be wrong, but I thought that you could still challenge before the team passed it in.
English

@Rob_Cawley @YanPeronn It was right at the time the ball was being inbounded on the other end of the court.
English

@YanPeronn @Thunder_UpOKC Was this video after he called for a timeout?
English

One of the worst reffed moments I can remember:
>Ball obviously goes off OKC's foot, refs say OKC ball.
>Refs then come together to make sure they got the right call... they decide their wrong call was the right call.
>Spurs try to challenge the call...
>Refs ignore the Spurs' coach.
>Refs are seen laughing with Lu Dort 30 seconds later
English

@urrfavonce_ @YanPeronn They tried to sub but couldn’t because there was no stoppage in play, you can’t sub unless there is a stoppage. If he wanted the sub he could have called a timeout, subbed, AND gotten the play reviewed.
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @YanPeronn they called the sub and timeout initially
English

@Ex07Wolver @Krueger3Feggy @hymnduncan I agree 100% with you! They did all game long on BOTH sides…. But in order
to challenge you have to call a TO, that’s all I was saying.
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @Krueger3Feggy @hymnduncan Dude the refs literally made the wrong call in the first place
English

Ball clearly off of Chet Holmgren’s foot.
Mitch Johnson attempts to challenge directly in front of the official.
Refs do not give us the challenge.
This sport is rigged.

English

@YanPeronn He might have verbally called timeout AFTER the ball was inbounded…. had a least 45 seconds to call the TO before this and didn’t. Come on now!
English

@Mattshouse2012 @YanPeronn Spurs fans are the worst! All you people do is moan about any and everything. Know the rules before you waste time bitching about stuff you don’t know about.
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @YanPeronn I love this guy. He’s got enough time to copy and paste this response to everyone lol
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @Rate_the_Refs It’s been working perfectly fine for him previously though
English

@Rishshan0 @embiidsafraud Find that video… I’ll wait for ya right here!
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @embiidsafraud The timeout is called as part of the finger twirl buddy
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @hymnduncan your own article. it’s almost like “simultaneously” means at the same time, no? that would mean twirling the finger for a timeout is legal for coaches.

English

@Covers Might want to teach the coach how to challenge a call:
Section II—Procedure to Initiate the Challenge
To initiate a Challenge, the challenging team must take the following steps in sequence:
The challenging team must call a legal timeout immediately after the call in question.
English

@embiidsafraud The ball wasn’t dead…. The Thunder were unbounded the ball….
English

@embiidsafraud You’re missing the point…. YOU HAVE TO CALL A Timeout to challenge…
English

@embiidsafraud @Rishshan0 You have to call a timeout in order to challenge.. I posted the exact (Rule 14) you are referring to. It’s not an AI response as you posted…
English

@Krueger3Feggy @hymnduncan By some dumbass Spurs fans that don’t know the rules! 😂
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @Rishshan0 i guarantee i know more abt the rules than you
u are wrong
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @hymnduncan the twirling of the finger is synonymous with calling a timeout for coaches and refs. as it’s been seen done many many times. this is not an excuse mr rulebook
English

@hymnduncan I’ll post this here for when you can’t sleep tonight because yall got slept! 😆

@Rishshan0 @embiidsafraud You don’t watch ball do you? 😂 You have to call a timeout in order to challenge… if you win the challenge you keep your TO, you lose it and you lose a TO also..
English

@Thunder_UpOKC @embiidsafraud Every other team calls a challenge before a timeout
