We all knew space stocks would froth up leading into $SPCX IPO. That's been part of the thesis from YEARS ago for many of us, which is part of the reason it's been an easy hold since $4.
I think there's a lot more room to run anchored to SpaceX. The question is where does everything settle when SpaceX settles? How much liquidity is sucked out of space to pivot to the IPO? And will there be continued market cap expansion due to all the mass awareness being generated? Or will it all fizzle with the next big IPOs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Anduril, etc.)?

The @NASCAR_Trucks race should be permanently moved to Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend.
If done correctly it would help elevate that series immensely.

The interstage achieved qualification load (approximately 125% of flight load) but ultimately tested to failure. Not part of the plan, but not entirely unexpected either as we validate design margins. This result gives us added conviction to the overall design and hardware for the next one, which is already in the factory. Currently, no expected impact to schedule.

Rocket Lab Space Structures Complex Update

A crack has formed on the Neutron interstage that has been on the stand for several weeks. Checking from several angles, it appears the crack goes most, if not all, of the way around.
Cranes have arrived on-site which usually indicates they will be moving the hardware, likely back inside for further analysis.

$APLD just crossed $31B in cumulative HPC hosting contracted backlog ($73B including renewals), while sitting at an ~$11.29B market cap.
That’s also >1 GW of total contracted capacity.
The backlog alone is ~2.7x–6.5x the current valuation.

Rocket Lab has been awarded a $90 million contract by the @USSpaceForce’s Space Systems Command @USSF_SSC to design, manufacture, integrate, and operate two geostationary satellites hosting the Heimdall space domain awareness payload produced by Rocket Lab Optical Systems. Rocket Lab components have long played an essential role in many GEO programs, but this is our first satellite production program for geostationary orbit. The two satellites will be built on our Lightning bus, adapted for the thermal, radiation, propulsion, and station-keeping demands of GEO.
