@PCarrollSport @gar2he_ All of that was explored. I can assure you it’s not intentional or what we’d want in having such a gap between games. The postponement of the football inadvertently led to this as well so I’d like to think people, though far from ideal, would understand the predicament.

@TierneyMick @gar2he_ I appreciate all that but surely an agreement to start the game 15 minutes later with TG4 is better for supporters than the more likely outcome of having two full hours between games. It’s a long time for supporters to wait and discourages attendance in my opinion

This is not great for supporters in attendance Should the game finish in normal time, it will be over at 1.45, leaving 2 hours for people to sit around and wait Even if it went to penalties it’s reasonable to assume it would be finished by 2.45, a full hour before the senior

@PCarrollSport @gar2he_ Paul, we also have to allow time for the cup presentation after penalties if it goes that far. We also have the presentation of the toomevara jubilee team. Teams then have their warmup and pre-match parade. Everything thing has to be taken into account including our agreement tg4

@gar2he_ Doesn’t make sense to me. TG4 obviously have to be accounted for which is no bother but I had a look at their schedule on Sunday evening and its reruns of Laochra Gael and contractors, surely they could be pushed out if a game went to extra time

@board_south @mogsblogs No, that’s wrong. Meaningful competitions can be ran at u12 grade. Counties around the country are doing so. All options will be discussed with divisions and clubs in the next couple of weeks to determine what’s best moving forward.

Another conversation on returning the age grades in Tipp back to the even numbers, i.e. - U12/14/16 is being muted.

@DavyRyanTipp @PremierviewPod Without getting into it too much, it’s very much down to field availability and when the host clubs aren’t playing. Some clubs have 2 teams that lead to conflicts as well. Everyone wants to see as many matches as possible but the last round is a logistical nightmare

@PremierviewPod I know the games in the same groups have to start at the same time but what's the reasoning behind games in group 3 starting only an hour after group 2 and same Sunday? Some ideal opportunities for senior double headers missed or even to get to a 2nd game

@bazzdgrogan @oisinlangan Tipperary club championship starts last weekend in July/1st August. Hurling and football every 2nd weekend to be ready for Munster club championship. It works for clubs and players, any later would be disastrous for both.

@oisinlangan But surely moving the finals a few weeks forward until August would be fine. It avoids the the inter county congestion of April and May. Also do any counties have club championship in August due to holidays? The ones I know all start in September in any event.

@sprocket1981 @PremierviewPod Simple answer, none of the suitable venues would take a double header either for lack of dressing rooms or unavailability of stewards.

@thesuir @PremierviewPod If you researched this David you would find that up to 70% of ticket money goes directly back to the club, thus raising money for improvements in said clubs. Vital fundraiser for club’s annually.

The club would wish to raise awareness of a GoFundMe page in aid of young Patrick Duffy aged 6 who is receiving cancer treatment abroad at the moment. Paddy's family, the Harkins and O Brien's have given so much to our club and our community and we'd really appreciate all the support possible in their time of need. We wish Paddy and his family the best with recovery.❤️🇱🇻 gofundme.com/f/paddy-duffys…

@seamusod10 @MickFoley76 No “ alas “ about it. According to Bobby, a man that would know, Gerry Stapleton was the best he ever hurled with. Personally I was lucky enough to have seen him and fully agree.
