its no coincidence that the coach has realized McCain is something teams cant deal with off the bench. he literally grilled the lakers, and now he's cooking the spurs. shooting will always be the best skillset tou could ever have, and the fact McCain is arguably the best shooter from everywhere on the court everytime he steps on it regardless of who's there with him, is insane

its extremely funny how him, McCain, Jared fucking McCain is the reason OKC is gonna beat the spurs. not Shai, not Wemby sucking, not Chet, not J Dub, not Caruso, not anybody but McCain.
McCain is the only player who is tailored perfectly to beat the spurs.
McCain is the best 3P shooter in OKC, and funny enough, he's their best midrange creator as well, NOT SHAI.
Shai doesn't have the 3P abilities McCain has, and on top Shai's middy is not as smooth or easy to get up like McCain's. McCain fundamentally breaks the defense the spurs are aiming for because they wanna force shooters into middies, or you beat them by spamming 3's (Caruso gameplan)
but you literally cannot do that to McCain. you treat McCain like he's Caruso he'd legit give you 10 threes, but then you play him off and Wemby sags he's literally not missing a middy
