In case everyone doesn't have time to dig through the numbers here... What this shows is that LA spent $10.7 million to rehab a 1949 motel with 26 rooms. That's $411,543 per room. ...JUST TO RENOVATE!!!! The COST of the building was $7.3M ($281,154 per room) to buy a 75-year-old motor inn off Ventura Blvd. Nithya Raman voted yes. Karen Bass signed it.
