Hydration break tonight #ENGCRO

@prodnose Yesterday there was a VAR break for 5 minutes and then 30 seconds later they went into a 3 minute hydration break. There's enough stoppages during a normal game where they can grab a quick drink.

Hydration breaks are three minutes. Why? Because that's the length of a US ad break. How long does it take to have a glug of water and get back out there? Thirty seconds?

@F1FantasyEuan 100% agreed. It is just a game, it shouldn't be as complicated as real life F1, which is already way too complicated!

At this point, I would prefer no update in F1 Fantasy. It's too messy. McLaren and potentially Red Bull are appealing Alpine's successful appeal. As I said, the game needs to insert a line stating Sunday's race classification is final, and then we can all move on.

I remember before the USA World Cup in 1994 there was talk that they wanted to split the game into quarters for Ad breaks. It was laughed off by the footballing world. Well they’ve done it in 2026 covertly with the introduction of the water break in each half. Tricked us all.
