I’ve got to be honest with y’all.
If the Democratic Party continues on this path, becoming a mirror of MAGA unable to grapple with basic reality, I don’t know who I’m gonna vote for.
We are where the Republican Party was in 2016. An extremist movement taking over, our party leaders sacrificing all their principles for power.
And I say this, as someone for whom the stakes could not be higher. The Republicans will continue eliminating people like me from public life if they win in 2028. I don’t think I will have any civil rights left.
But I’m not gonna tell you what our party is becoming is not disgusting. It is.

When I was Israel, I didn’t go to Hebron, which is a city controlled by Palestinians. My fear was that I’m just famous enough to get recognized and that a Palestinian mob would murder me for being trans. It is mind blowing to me that trans people cannot recognize the people that fought with us for LGBT rights are our friends and the terrorists that throw trans women off roofs are not.

I am from Gaza, where I lived in a neighborhood that included a transgender individual. They were one of the most loved persons in our community. Every society, including Gaza, has an LGBT community. However, I have never heard or seen of a gay man being beaten or killed because of his sexual orientation in Gaza. Never. I hope my fellow Gazans can confirm this. The dress code is another matter, but the fact remains that Israel has been blackmailing Palestinian gays to collaborate with them or inform on their families. So!
