I encountered a very tough question We invested years of hard & high-quality work into a paper published in a decent journal (IF >10) but with a pathetic number of citations (10 ish) in the past 2 yr. Why should we continue to work on the same topic? I have no answer, sadly🥲

@Anthony_Bonato I remember an English teacher telling our class to never use that “Dawn of time” cliche as an intro. Yet, whenever I see it used I can’t help but laugh and love it because of its cliche.
