Official images of the new #Huawei HIMA AITO M9 have been released. The model features a 6-LiDAR system (including one 896-line LiDAR) and an additional high-definition side camera on the C-pillar, alongside advanced intelligent perception, powertrain and chassis technologies. It offers both BEV and EREV versions with 5/6-seat layouts, and dimensions have been increased. 🔹L/W/H: 5285/2026/1845mm, wheelbase: 3125mm — up 55mm, 27mm, 45mm and 15mm respectively over the outgoing model. 🔹The 6 LiDARs enable 360° omnidirectional environmental perception through laser-vision fusion. Leveraging hardware upgrades, the intelligent driving system officially expands its use scenarios to unpaved roads. The new C-pillar side camera further enhances fused perception capabilities. 🔹The chassis receives comprehensive hardware and software upgrades, expected to include innovations like active control and drive-by-wire technologies. It is also the first HIMA model equipped with a fully active suspension system. The fully active chassis integrates preview recognition, actively sensing road conditions to adjust suspension stiffness and damping, with enhanced long-range, high-precision road condition detection. 🔹Powered by new-gen CATL batteries: EREV with 60kWh / 75kWh options and BEV with a 120kWh pack. The EREV variant uses dual motors (220kW front, 277kW rear) and a 118kW 1.5T engine, with a pure electric range of 250–335km. The BEV version also gets a power boost, with 220kW front and 277kW rear maximum output.
