Kim Leadbeater & others voted to remove safeguards for various non-terminal disabilities, incl autism, diabetes, anorexia & Down’s syndrome.
Why would a bill ONLY for the terminally ill need to do that?

Absolutely right from Lord Pannick. Scrutiny & debate is welcome, but having sat through many of these long debates in the unelected chamber what we have seen repeatedly over the last few months has gone far beyond this. All terminally ill people want is choice & dignity😔

My best friend is Muslim, and she has been fasting. I’m not a Muslim, and I don’t. We joke about it. She’s going to a white CoE funeral, and calls me to ask what the norms are and what to wear and say. This summer, I’ll be going to a family wedding with her and asking the same.
Because that’s integration.
That’s how you build a society that works.
We don’t all have to be the same.
We just need to have policies that allow for proper mixing and insight.

Something is clearly out of balance when someone earning £10k and someone earning £140k take home the same net amount.
No wonder so many hard-working people and entrepreneurs are leaving the UK. Would you want to live in a country that punishes hard work and jobs creation?
