Mind-blowing 15 million foreigners visited China in the first six months of this year. Tourism is booming thanks to Beijing’s new visa-free travel for many countries. And some young people are even speaking fluent Chinese. Imagine the career opportunities for these kids in the future!

So here's a story of, by far, the weirdest bug I've encountered in my CS career. Along with @maciejwolczyk we've been training a neural network that learns how to play NetHack, an old roguelike game, that looks like in the screenshot. Recenlty, something unexpected happened.

@ItsKikoKuso @TheWapplehouse That's a premix canister and they have them in Canada (and likely the US) too. When doing large quantities, though, it's cheaper to use tap water, CO2, and syrup and have the fountain combine things.

Did he think restaurants had giant vats of soda under ground like fuel at a gas station? Or did he think 16-year old employees were using pallet jacks to change out the massive containers of Dr Pepper that’d be required to keep everyone’s cup full?
