@UnkleAyo Adichie far sha, Mr Macaroni for Lagos here rejected it. I mean he came to talk about how life was tough for him due to some financial issues and despite that he still didn’t succumb. I am sure they possibly have an idea he was passing through that and he was not tempted. I stan

You guys should be happy you are dealing with soft people. I would have dedicated my next 30 tweets while in Aba to every negative things I see in Aba including those mushroom schools you call Abia Smart School. Alex Otti has gotten approval from all angles even when he has his own flaws and you are there using someone’s tour to push a “clock it” agenda like Alex is white as snow. You can talk about Ogun and Lagos but they can’t talk about Abia. Who the fvck are you? Like, can’t you have decorum? Must you be at loggerhead with everybody? Is this an underlying sickness?
KWEKU THE HUSTLER@Urchilla01

Make I de watch you first cos e no go tey you go begin form "constructive criticism" of Alex Otti talmbout "I've been in Aba the past 3 months."

The Jilli market airstrike that killed scores of innocent traders is not just tragic, but a devastating failure that must outrage every conscience. While targeting insurgents, innocent Nigerians were once again reduced to collateral damage. How long will citizens remain unsafe both from terrorists and from the very operations meant to protect them? Just a few days ago, the United States deployed over 150 aircraft and spent an estimated $300 million to rescue just one pilot in Iran, even destroying equipment worth over $100 million each to protect a single life. That is the value they place on one citizen. Here at home, we must ask: what is the value of Nigerian lives? This demands urgent review, accountability, and decisive action to prevent a recurrence. My heartfelt condolences go to the bereaved families and affected communities. Nigeria must uphold its duty to protect its citizen. That is the ultimate essence of National Security. -AA #google_vignette" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">dailytrust.com/breaking-over-…

”𝐅𝐀𝐊𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓: “𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐖𝐎 𝐎𝐘𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐋𝐄 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐀𝐃𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐄𝐑𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐓𝐀𝐗 𝐋𝐀𝐖𝐒”   Our attention has been drawn to misleading media reports claiming that the Honourable Minister of State for Finance, Mr. Taiwo Oyedele has "finally admitted errors in the new tax laws." These publications misrepresent the Minister's statements, falsely alleging that he urged Nigerians to await the outcome of a "legislative probe", a process that has long been concluded and the gazetted copies certified by the National Assembly published since early January 2026.   This twisted narrative is unhelpful as it risks distorting public understanding and misleading the very people the reforms were designed to benefit.   The Minister, during a recent fireside chat at the NBA SLP conference in Lagos, highlighted the early positive impact of the new tax laws, including thousands of informal businesses now seeking CAC registration daily while the number of individuals registered for tax purposes nationwide has increased from barely 10 million before the reform to over 100 million.   These impressive results stem from the robust design and progressive nature of the new laws, which include: - Exemption of small companies from tax. - Increased exemption thresholds for low-income earners. - Tax exemptions on basic consumption items like food, education, healthcare, transportation, and rent. - Introduction of the Tax Ombud to protect taxpayer right.   The Minister contrasted the transformative changes in the new laws with the regressive provisions in the old laws. He however emphasised that no law is perfect. Therefore, ongoing stakeholder engagement is essential to identify and address any errors or gaps for appropriate legislative updates through Finance Bills as part of a continuous improvement process.   We urge members of the public to disregard sensational headlines and twisted narratives and rely exclusively on official sources and credible media organisations for accurate information regarding the tax reform and other government policies.   God bless Nigeria! -𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒂𝒍 𝑭𝒊𝒔𝒄𝒂𝒍 𝑷𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒄𝒚 & 𝑻𝒂𝒙 𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒔 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒆

I don't know if you know: But since Bola stole the Presidency in 2023, he has only visited 14 Nigerian States. 13 were political events. In fact, he has visited 24 countries. More countries than Nigerian states. Peter Obi has visited all. God will punish all of you seh.

I genuinely don't know what else Peter Obi has to do to convince you idiots - let's assume your obvious suffering isn't enough. Has ran a "parallel govt" since '23. Funding schools, hospitals, visited all 36 states. Even if Obi is pretending, he'd have been tired by now.

REBUTTAL: The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) did not copy its recent press statement from any third party. Any circulation of the statement outside the Commission’s official channels was done independently and not coordinated by INEC. The publication by Peoples Gazette titled “Nigerians react as INEC reposts Tinubu aide’s message” is fake, misleading, and a misrepresentation of facts. gazettengr.com/nigerians-reac… INEC’s repost of the statement was solely to amplify accurate information earlier released from the Commission and should not be misconstrued as alignment with any individual or political office holder. The Commission remains strictly non-partisan and urges the public to disregard misleading interpretations of its actions.

Finally. Here they are 🤡 They didn't protest removal of fuel subsidy. They didn't protest the illegal tax policy. They didn't protest kidnappings & banditry. They didn't protest collapsing power grid. They didn't protest inflation of naira & rising cost of living. What they choose to protest, and the ONLY thing that matters to them, is POWER! So if this doesn't make you understand who these people really are......then I'm sorry for you! 🇳🇬

The ADC Titanic is steaming toward the iceberg, and instead of stepping away while there is still time, many are rushing aboard eager to share in what is clearly an avoidable wreck. Some of these are not amateurs. They are seasoned, even brilliant politicians, choosing against better judgment to tie their fortunes to a vessel already listing under the weight of its own contradictions. At some point, courage must give way to honesty. If you insist on boarding, then be prepared to accept the consequences that follow. Political choices, like all others, carry their own fate. And for those of us who once held you in high regard, there is only the quiet task of accepting what is now plainly a self-inflicted political demise. Otunba Segun Showunmi The Alternative.
