I can't fault Massie for being for Ron DeSantis instead of Trump. Ron DeSantis would have also made a great President. However, since Trump got the nomination, he should support him now. That's the difference.

@ronrule Even simpler, we have laws against speeding, yet does speeding stop? We have laws against drunk driving, yet people still do it. Laws don't stop crime, they just provide a consequence for breaking the law, nothing more. So why would anyone believe laws against guns would work?

Gun laws are stupid. All of them. Drugs are illegal. Fully banned. Entire departments and billions of dollars spent on enforcement. Despite that, I bet you know someone you could call right now and get any drug you wanted. Why do you think this is any different with guns? If a criminal wants a gun, they’ll just call that guy they know who can get them one, just like you can call that guy you know who can get you drugs. Roughly 60% of the people currently doing time on weapons charges were ALREADY prohibited from owning one at the time of their arrest. Bans, background checks, wait periods, none of that means anything. A criminal who wants a gun isn’t standing in a gun shop filling out paperwork. All those things do is make it harder for YOU to get one to defend yourself against THEM. All gun laws should be repealed. Every single one.

@Notwokenow You just do. You find a way and put one foot forward then take the next indicated step. Is it painful? Excruciating! But you do it. The next step is a little easier, then easier. Each step takes you further away from a person you don't need in your life anymore.

@DarlaShine Let me explain. The virus is awake as you walk in. Once you sit down, the virus goes to sleep and stays asleep until you get the bill. Then the virus wakes up, so you have to put your mask on to leave. Got it now? It's the same on planes.

I went out to dinner last night and a couple in their 30's came in and had masks on. They took off their masks to eat and drink and put it back on to walk in and out of the restaurant. The insanity begins again.
