Quantum computing threats are top of mind for regulators and crypto innovators. After G7's recent commitment to "increase understanding of risks associated with quantum technologies across different sectors", the SEC is now assessing how quantum breakthroughs could compromise Bitcoin, Ethereum, and trillions in digital assets. The SEC has received a proposal titled Post-Quantum Financial Infrastructure Framework, a "strategic and technical roadmap designed to guide a secure and orderly transition to quantum-resistant cryptography". According to the submission: "The U.S. digital asset ecosystem, built upon current cryptographic standards, faces an existential threat from the rapid advancement of quantum computing. A cryptographically relevant quantum computer (CRQC) could break the fundamental security that protects trillions of dollars in assets, leading to systemic risk, catastrophic investor losses, and a complete erosion of market confidence." That’s where QANplatform comes in. Dear QAN community, As we continue to work diligently behind the scenes, we want to take a moment to address a few frequently asked questions. 1) QVM audit: As of today, it has become clear to everyone that this is not an ordinary audit, since it is an evaluation of a completely new technology. The QAN Virtual Machine (QVM) stands out as an extraordinary technological innovation in the Web3 space. Hacken is making a very good progress with the audit, which will soon validate our technology to the public. 2) Developer AMA: We recently conducted a pilot for live developer AMA sessions with our Co-Founder and CTO, Johann Polecsak. After evaluating the format, we found it was not the most effective approach due to repetitive questions and off-topic inquiries unrelated to technology. In response, we are developing a comprehensive developer onboarding process that will address frequently asked technological questions. This will provide a more structured and valuable resource for our growing developer community ahead of the MainNet launch. 3) Use cases: We are making strong progress on use cases with both our existing and new partners. Once these use cases reach a stage where they can be shared publicly, we will provide you with the details. 4) Galxe: As some of you might already know, our Galxe board suffered numerous bot attacks in the past. Because of this reason we are exploring alternatives to improve user experience for the community. Thank you all for supporting QAN on Galxe. We keep monitoring your activity and your efforts won't be forgotten.
