MPs debated the immigration health surcharge increase yesterday hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2024-0…. They now need to pass a motion to formally approve it. The government can then sign the increase into law; 21 days after that, the surcharge will go up to £1,035 a year.

@StagecoachSouth My wife and I thought we'd try for the earlier 91 to Woking this morning from Clifton Way - the 7:28 - but predictably it's not appeared and has now disappeared from the board. What's going on with your service please?

@StagecoachSouth So your 7:43 obviously didn't run, I'm on the 7:58 now (which was still late) and the poor driver is having to turn people away it's so full. Not good enough.

Just heard requirement for nationals of certain countries to book an appt to register with police within 7 days of arriving in UK under new immigration permission has been scrapped. Linked to fact appts with the Met weren't actually available until October 2023 at the earliest?

There are no words for how incredibly sad and awful this story is. I’d heard of creaming and dumbing down, which are disgusting methods still used in education, but bussing is a different level. I feel for all those who went through this
