Sarpy is still in the district so it isn't totally lost but when redistricting they chose to include 20k people from Saunders, a redder rural county instead of adding more people in slightly bluer Sarpy

The self proclaimed Chair of the NFC ran for the State Education Board in a district that was over 70% GOP and he lost to a Democrat by 2:1. He ran the worst race of any GOP candidate in NE in 2020. In Sarpy County I outperformed him by approximately 30%. But he loves giving advice.

@DonJBacon @english_schs I don’t think implementing cameras in every private citizen’s car should be the call. I’m not doing anything wrong, but still I’d prefer not to live in a surveillance state. By the time Trump’s recommendation comes and gets voted on, it’ll be at least 2027, and you’ll have left.

@Timothy9631 @DonJBacon Part of it you answered yourself. Don Bacon won in a district that voted D in the presidential race twice. That would mean he'd moderate on some issues. You may disagree where he moderated, but a hard right position was not in the cards if he was going to win election.
