Oh yeah, that's the irony of all of it. These women themselves were the most racist of them all. At the end of it, I could feel them seething because they couldn't get the answer they wanted. Also, correction, I'm a man, so the other threat was "sexual harassment". My explaining anything too harshly could be mansplaining.

My most unhinged run-in with HR was while working at a biotech company as a senior scientist, a long time ago. They were doing racism audits, and me being an Asian, they targeted me in an inquisition-style interrogation. In essence, it was about 30 minutes of them... Gen Z women with a chip on their shoulders, trying to make me say that I experienced racism at the company. It was them framing every little comment, quip, joke, and conversation that my 'white' coworkers had with me into some sort of racist dog whistle. They wanted me to "out" my work friends as "racists" so that HR could crucify them. I knew they were recording the whole time, so I had to be very careful with my words. I kept my answers brutally short, usually with a single-word answer of "no", or that lacks context, or that's a misframing. They were literally trying to manufacture problems to go after people to justify their existence. They were trying to goad me, to extract the "right" answers from me that I refused to play their stupid game. After the interview was over, and after their little racism witch hunt didn't work, they moved on to other targets, other minorities, other stupid problems no one cared about.

@LeoNelissen What's it like to have the flu... it sucks. Literally just about any illness sucks lol Most media is just terrible and wants to promote fear and worrying to appease their probably biggest revenue source... BIG PHARMA

Thinking about this again: It's nuts. I got editors to admit that it doesn't matter to them if a source is lying, so long as it's listed as "reliable" by the site. Why would anyone use Wikipedia with that standard of evidence? It is almost explicitly a tool to slander people!

I still miss Charlie He's the one who convinced me to do live appearances with my face rather than avi. My first was live on his show My favorite part of knowing him was knowing how open-minded he was. He liked having study claims vetted, even when it contradicted his co-hosts

The character arcs of Bezos and Zuck over the last 5 years in my view have been pretty shocking. I like Bezos way more than I used to and meanwhile Zuck is turning into some sort of villain instead of just a geeky tech founder, which I think started with the release of Reels and then of course AI

Even tho it feels like Democrats are in meltdown mode rn, there are other big constitutional amendments that should give the party some extra zing in November. Abortion rights, gay marriage and voting rights/criminal justice reform are all on the ballot too

@Rebellionaire @bradsferguson To be honest, retail doesn't even need it(tho it is cool). The companies almost always return to or way below IPO price at some point. That is when opportunities are ripe. Only a few have not done that. And those ones are truly great businesses (google)
