And now, it just got better with a whole new redesign. The redesigned platform makes it easier to navigate, search, and interact with data. Key information is more accessible, discovery is faster, and the overall experience reflects the demands of a real-time, data-driven digital era. This is what a modern central bank’s digital presence should look like—open, responsive, and built for users. Bank of Uganda reminds the public that mutilating or defacing Uganda Shilling banknotes and coins is prohibited. This includes using brand-new notes in floral bouquets, money cakes, or decorative gifts by gluing, taping, or pinning them together. While cash gifts are welcome, currency should remain in usable condition. Damaged notes can't be processed by ATMs and counting machines, leading to costly early replacement. Let's preserve the integrity of our national currency for everyone's benefit. #BoUConnects
