Modern countries like Estonia and India rely on digital IDs that are verifiable for all residents, not just citizens, forming the bedrock of development. In Uganda, our fragmented digital IDs, digital payments, and mobile money platforms slow down growth. High transfer costs, slow cross-border payments, and disconnected systems make it difficult for businesses and citizens to participate in the digital economy.
