@whstancil Pretty sure looking at some reports that it’s a Boolean that is determined by if there’s a death date in the death field. If there’s no date then it defaults to “False”. If they aren’t collecting benefits then it makes little sense to expend resources to verify death.

@whstancil Reading a couple reports previously about this I have an idea of how this happens. The Death Field is a Boolean but it’s not input manually it’s determined by a date of death being input. If there’s a date then “True” if no date then “False” .

Then, Gov agencies open those positions again and hire based on merit. Now you get even better crises workers.

Musk is firing people who operate the Veterans Crisis Line. One of the most substantial and successful tools to fight veteran suicide today. They literally did a 2014 documentary about it that won an Oscar. Can someone point me to the outrage from the MAGA “we love the troops” crowd? Nope…crickets. It’s always been a lie.
