@LeeMcClymont @BirdyBooky @sheawilliamsy @ramendik Periods don't just clean up all neat and easy. They're messy and bloody and it gets all over your hand, no matter how hard you try to just get it on the toilet paper. I'm a grown woman and I wouldn't want them seeing that while I'm washing my hands, it'd be worse as a young girl.

@BirdyBooky @sheawilliamsy @ramendik They have privacy. Each toilet has a door. If they are going to the toilet without closing the door that's on them. Why do you need privacy to wash your hands?

These are the toilets in Harold’s Cross Educate Together Secondary School. Fully open to the corridor and with male and female symbols on every single door. The school has, helpfully, laminate a couple of pieces of paper with arrows written on them saying ‘Male’ and ‘Female’. The only sinks are in the middle of the floor with no wall between them. I suppose the laminated signs are the school’s attempt at a compromise as there was uproar from the students a couple of months ago when plans revealed that every single toilet block and cubicle is mixed sex. Only people who are completely oblivious to the needs and desires of teenage girls especially, for privacy and dignity would make teenage girls share toilet facilities with teenage boys like this. It’s either ignorance or something more sinister - a complete disregard for the rights of half of the population. Educate Together my arse. What about girls and boys from countries, cultures and religious backgrounds for whom these shared facilities will be entirely unacceptable? They will self-exclude from schools like this. Everywhere where mixed sex facilities have been imposed on teenagers like this, girls have ended up physically ill because they will stop drinking water during the day because they won’t use these facilities. @hcetss @Education_Ire @1Hildegarde Why have exclusionary toilet facilities been adopted in this publicly funded school?

@MeghanEMurphy Most of the best men I have met, online or not, have been gamers. They're willing to help other people, are polite, kind, all round good guys, not the dorks and losers you call them. I love gamers, they're awesome. Your takes about men always scream "I hate men".

@merryweather201 @mobocks When called out that the removal didn't fit the rules for removal, the mod used "in the spirit of" as a catch-all for something they didn't like. Vibes are not rules and anyone can find something "in the spirit of" a rule to bend it to their way, like the mod did here.

I posted in r/Toronto seeking to interview people for a story. Now I’m banned for “solicitation” even though that’s not what I was doing and not what their rules say????

"Look at me! Look how quirky I am with my mental health condition that I probably use as an excuse for behavior and likely self-diagnosed! I'm so special that I do weird things!" Lists an everyday thing that almost everyone on the planet does.
Sophia ❣️@KeruboSk

Does anyone else with ADHD have a “wear again” pile? Like clothes you wore out for a bit, not long enough to be dirty, but not clean enough to put back, so they just live in a nearby pile for “later”… or is it just me?

@HMBohemond Not just that, but most female gamers, from what I've seen in my 40yrs of gaming, like their character to be just as sexy/cute as they can make it. In WoW you can always tell a character is played by a female when it's dressed scantily. I know mine is.

I remember when Anita Sarkeesian first started spewing her inane drivel, and a major defense that her bootlickers rant was, "Female character designs won't entirely change. There will just be more variety! It's a good thing!" Yet back then and today, over a decade later, if you DARE make any female armor that isn't physically indistinguishable from a man's and you get skewered by all the game journos and Twitter freaks who get angry at feminine beauty. As exemplified by the current attack on Lords of the Fallen 2. Female character designs need to go back to purely appealing to men. Not only for the primary audience of such works, which are straight men, but because art should disturb the comfortable. These anti-culture cretins like Liam Croft are still feeling comfortable enough to vomit up this tripe.

I still have a pink triple flower one in my jewelry box for the memory, and my long slim blue one broke just a couple years ago, I still used it. I remember every single style on here - the bows always seemed to break first.

you took a hormone your body isn't biologically geared to produce naturally in large amounts (because you're a man) which caused you to grow tits congratulations you are quite literally a man with tits

I quite literally went from a biological man to a biological woman via HRT… How is there any denying this? Literally look at my before v after photos - I’ve literally had 0 surgeries or procedures outside of this!

@_celia_bedelia_ Oh honey, you even LOOK insufferable lol you have the aura of a dead sun bleached fish. Giving yourself crows feet over other women's titties. Are you secretly queen or something? Did a man screw over your insecure ass for another woman? Does your mom not love you?

Yeah the issue is, I AM called a slut if I wear one too. Because of the size of my chest! I’m not okay with it but there is absolutely NOTHING I can do that will make this stop. I cant go around braless to work. It’s not feasible.
June Ⓐ☭ 🏳️‍⚧️👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏳️‍🌈🔞@thejuneiest

@_celia_bedelia_ I think the issue is you are ok with this. This shouldn’t be ok. You shouldn’t need to wear a bra to get promoted. You shouldn’t be called a slut for not wearing one. Saying women should enforces the bad things that happens to you.

I wouldn't be able to get involved with someone who didn't game, because I do a sh!t ton of it, and I want someone who understands that a boss fight takes precedence over dinner being 5 min overcooked.
Lizzie Marbach@LizzieMarbach

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@thegreendingler @MostControPod This is him noticing in detail what a 13y/o is wearing, how it's moving to expose skin, and then deciding that meant she dressed sexy for him. That's not a bad read, that's creepy.

@strstyler All the Inuits I saw in her replies liked the tattoos. The people that got offended weren't Inuit, which is usually how these things go. Gatekeeping other people's cultures, and getting offended on behalf of them is pretty common now.

@franknteddy Dressing like a professional and mature adult is not misogyny or patriarchal standards. It's called having standards of your own and not wanting to look saggy and unkempt.
