This @SquawkCNBC interview with Ryan Cohen is wild. @andrewrsorkin is asking him a 3rd grade math question and he keep pretending they’re asking him an advanced calculus equation.
@ss_riot@danprimack@SquawkCNBC@andrewrsorkin And also admittedly I cannot stand the amount of pure bullshit that is spread on this app about extremely well defined topics, facts, things with objectively right and wrong answers. :)
@ss_riot@danprimack@SquawkCNBC@andrewrsorkin His only play is trying to take further advantage of retail GME holders. He had no answers to Sorkin’s questions because there are none other than retail idiots. He doesn’t have the cash. He doesn’t have the equity value
@k_rluna@danprimack@SquawkCNBC@andrewrsorkin This is the biggest moment of his professional life and he decides to pretend the world is too stupid to notice a 16B cash hole??????
@Tio_Albert2145@danprimack@SquawkCNBC@andrewrsorkin I mean, I don't think its that. He is a successful dude. It just lacks decorum for the CEO of a publicly listed company. And if you look at his prior interviews, he is a very normal, charming CEO / Leader.
Maybe he took the wrong peptides.
Watching Ryan Cohen on CNBC. Is there something medically or mentally wrong with this guy? His interview is disjointed, vague little little to no context. Shaking my head but grateful as I would not trust this guy with my money.
@danprimack@SquawkCNBC@andrewrsorkin Or maybe he has so much disdain for shithead sorkin that he doesn’t want to give his dumbass the time of day. He’s only doing the interview because he has to play ball to some extent.
Bichette clearly misses Toronto and doesn’t give a damn about winning for a team he is only playing a single season for. #mets
Steve Cohen should sell the team.
@shteivred@JamesSurowiecki@dutchdalton992 Excuse me? Do you think something other than bankruptcy would be the likely outcome in this circumstance? James is spot on
@Wake_Setter@JamesSurowiecki@dutchdalton992 JetBlue’s market cap of 1.8B is effectively 100% the assets it own. It has zero value derived from long term growth potential or from the franchise itself
@JamesSurowiecki@dutchdalton992 Yea, that's not how market cap and a balance sheet interact.. lol. You know how many $10+ billion companies are at a net loss and in debt? I'll give you a hint: alot.
@Wake_Setter@JamesSurowiecki@dutchdalton992 Completely fucking irrelevant. None of those companies are asset heavy, capex intensive like a damn airline. Would only exist (at scale for a length period of time) in software or services
@JeffSpiegel Def worse. No development other than a slightly different splitter.
I think it’s really unfair to jump all over the offense (except Tucker lmao). Just think how much baseball they’ve played in the past two years. Hopefully they took more time in the offseason and can recover
