Out of the top 1,000 campaign contributions to Platner's senate campaign, only 206 of them were made by donors who live in Maine. That means nearly 80% of Platner's top campaign contributions came from donors living outside of Maine. Even worse, the vast majority of Platner's top 1,000 campaign contributions were made by donors who listed their employment status as Not Employed. A large portion of Platner's top 1,000 campaign contributions violate Federal campaign finance law because the donor did not include their occupation or employer in their campaign contribution filing as required by federal law.
