Software is having its Industrial Revolution. Thanks to AI ofcourse.
All "hand" manufacturers of software where India had a global upperhand because cost was cheap is going to go away. In fact, software manufacturers will be sitting quite close to consumers because that's most ideal and now possible.
The huge IT talent sitting in the country has 2 options:
1. Focus on building for Indian market or expand the global market through breakthrough innovations
2. Focus on the raw materials for this revolution: hardware, electricity etc

@ShukharMawla @Timurid_Mughal @DalrympleWill It's more of a travel memoir of a historian.... not much there about delhi sultanate either.
English

@Timurid_Mughal I suspect @DalrympleWill would be the go to on that - perhaps City of Djinns?

Watched Wuthering Heights yesterday ( so I could avoid reading another Victorian era book) - well looks like the book is vastly different so we will consider it independently.
Nevertheless, quite a mixed bag of a movie with a positive aftertaste. The first half was incredible with grand scenes, gothic music and tense but romantic storyline. The second half felt somewhat of a drag with sudden topsy-turns between "positive" and "negative" romance, probably sine qua non of obsessive love. Nevertheless, it does inspire plenty of emotions whether good or bad is a matter of moral judgement, outside the realm of cinematic expression.
Very impressive acting by Margot Robbie, can't say the same for the dude though.

@tishasaroyan @irfhabib Good to see few brave women coming forward and creating a ring of protection. What were the men doing!
English

Absolutely atrocious that @irfhabib saab was attacked today for just speaking his mind. And this is in the heart of Delhi University. It's not easy for historians who go out there and freely advocate the cause for Indian history and education, brave of Irfan saab to continue his speech undeterred despite the attack 🫡

Womg! Impossible etymology cracked.

Ever wondered why 'OC' means free in Bangalore slang? 😄 Back in East India Company days, people misused 'OCS' (On Company Service) to send personal couriers for FREE... and that's how 'OC' was born! 😂 Who's the ultimate 'OC' master in your gang? Always getting treats, rides, or entry on someone else's bill? Tag them! 😏👀 #NammaBengaluru #BangaloreStories VC : JimmyJimmyTheShow

Say it loud: #IStandWithMuhammadDeepak
In Uttarakhand, a mob of extremists gathered to pressure a Muslim elderly man into changing the name of his 30-year-old shop. At that moment, a man emerged like a shield standing firmly between the mob and the shopkeeper preventing the looting and intimidation. He introduced himself as Mohammad Deepak.
Today, Mohammad Deepak is being called the Bhagat Singh of our times.
After he stood up for the elderly shopkeeper, more than 150 extremists gathered near Deepak’s home, engaging in vandalism, threats, and verbal abuse. Yet Deepak remained calm and resolute. He spoke just one line that now echoes across the state:
“I may live or I may not, but humanity will live on.”
Right now, Deepak is standing almost alone across Uttarakhand, confronting extremist forces with nothing but courage, conscience, and humanity. This is the moment for all of us people of India 🇮🇳 to stand united with him.
I will personally try to ensure that ground-level support reaches Deepak so that he does not feel isolated or unsafe in an environment poisoned by hate. In this city of rising intolerance, we need people like Deepak, and we will not allow him to be harmed in any way.
Raise your voice. Stand for humanity.

@amit33jain @imJenal Running is free, just Google for a run group near you.
BIC and MAP are free.
KQA Quiz costs 100rs per person.
Swimming open water costs about 800rs a ticket as they provide safety support. Plus travel. This is the only thing which has the potential to be unaffordable.
English

@Tirumarai @imJenal Please mention the costs also. Then everyone will know that 90% can't afford them.

Bangalore has so much to offer.
Yet I see so many people not really leveraging what this city gives you. The people, the connections, the meetups, and the ease of finding your kind of community.
From tech to hobbies.
From beginner-friendly communities to serious ones.
From sports and dance to biking, running, and everything in between.
Bangalore is not just a place to hustle.
It is a place to live the life you once wanted but were scared to start.
Leverage the city, not just for work, but to actually enjoy life.
