I spoke to someone in North QLD who heard it’s ‘pretty rough down there in Melbourne’ and went on to ask ‘have you tried talking to your friends on zoom? We did it in our three day lockdown last year and it was actually pretty fun!’ I psychically punched her.

@sumeyya_ilanbey Do you know if both parents are not an authorised worker but both are working from home and no supervision is available, am I allowed to send my son to a childcare?

Under new statewide restrictions, parents can send their children to childcare if one is an authorised worker. There is no requirement for both parents to be authorised workers.

Am curious as to the mood. Do people think the upgraded restrictions will work and we’ll eventually get back to zero or will we be locked down until we hit 80% full vax?

@WhatTimeDan We might be lucky and both happen at the same time. It’s the Vax % that will ultimately get us out. I’m still not convinced the Premiers can hold their nerve and see that through either though?? Only time will tell. Number 7 is tough going….

@Tlmorgo @AbagiLisa If your in iso you don’t go to work. NSW made some exceptions for the mental health unit in Nepean as lack of staff.

@Raf_Epstein @Raf_Epstein any chance the officials can clarify what not in iso means? Are they out within the limits wearing masks and doing essential things? If so what is the risk to the general public when someone is shopping or receiving treatment wearing a mask?
