@Shpeshal_Nick They haven’t delivered enough games this generation for casuals to feel that way, i know tons of people that have a PS5 that qoute “I barely touch it” they aren’t coming off a banger generation like the PS4.No game feels as big as Horizon or Ghost did last gene.

PushSquare ran a survey about Sony brand loyalism given the recent news. Mind you, this is a very pro-PlayStation audience over there. 45 % are seriously considering giving Sony the boot. 15 % already left. Argue about the sample size, but this reaction among fans is not nothing.

@XboxTimdog Ugh these reports, I think anyone not in PR still talking with media needs to be let go. Asha’s statement on the layoffs was all we needed to know, anybody making any statements that aren’t officially approved damage the brand image and wouldn’t be tolerated in other industries

If you wanted my honest opinion? I think they will hire some more people again. I think this was obviously with Agi in mind, but also part of culture reset too. You saw some of the people that they laid off. You saw the posts. I know some of the people. It’s very hard and many ways not fair. The unfortunate thing about this whole thing is trending for the whole industry. Our whole world is going to be consumed by Ai/Agi. I’m not worried for xbox in that regard, I’m worried for us as people. Corps will and have always shown they have no affinity for people and cash rules them every time

As much as I would love to say that Sony would reverse this I really doubt this. The only thing left is maybe Xbox would do it but the problem is that the industry and third party will do what the market leader is and not make discs. If I was Xbox I would still continue to making discs for your games and also include a disc on Helix.

lol all the Xbox guys trying to clown PlayStation today. I swear, man, nobody does egg on the face like the extreme hardcore Xbox Fanboys. Physical media is dead. I do like to own games so I can trade up. But honestly, most of my console games over the last few years are indeed digital. It's nice to have physical, not gonna say otherwise. But the times have changed, just like CD's no longer exist.
