Unlike every other European nation under Nazi occupation, Poland never had an SS unit created. There was no Polish quisling government cooperating with the Germans. Poland had the largest resistance movement in occupied Europe and was the first to inform the outside world of the Holocaust - warnings that were ignored by the Allies. There are thousands of examples of Poles risking their lives to save Jewish people during the war. This is why Poles are the largest group recognised as Righteous Among the Nations at Yad Vashem. Rozmawialiśmy o tym otwarcie dwa miesiące temu i ustalenia były jednoznaczne. Byłam przekonana, że mój profesjonalizm, dobre referencje i uzgodnienia wystarczą, by czuć się bezpiecznie. Tak wtedy zapewniały mnie władze szkoły. Jednak, jak wiecie, w międzyczasie odbywały się wybory prezydenckie. I oto wychodzi cała prawda: właścicielka szkoły nie tylko publicznie agitowała na platformie służbowej (Teams) za Rafałem Trzaskowskim – czego dowodem jest załączony screen – ale też nie tolerowała sprzeciwu. Mój sprzeciw wobec wciągania polityki do szkoły kosztował mnie pracę. Tak, dziś mogę powiedzieć, że spotkałam się z szykaną motywowaną politycznie. Nie boję się tego nazwać. Dziś płacę za to cenę – ale wiem, że nie wolno milczeć. Nie proszę o współczucie. Proszę o uwagę. Bo to nie jest tylko moja historia. To jest ostrzeżenie, dokąd zmierza polska szkoła, jeśli pozwolimy na polityczne wpływy i represje wobec tych, którzy mają odwagę mówić „dość”. Niczego nie żałuję. Zachowałam się jak trzeba.
