ALBERTA UTILITIES COMMISSION (AUC) Approves Oyen Wind Farm Oct 20, 2025 23,520 ACRES LOST. The project will be sited on 147 quarter sections of private land, approximately eight kilometres north of Oyen, Alberta Why do you ask? To save the planet of course. "OWAI (the developer) submitted that wind energy is the lowest cost option for new electricity generation in Alberta today. OWAI added that wind energy is also a key solution to climate change because it produces no carbon emissions or other air contaminants." The AUC drinks this shit up.....tell us more, please tell us more.....these are great facts to know :) The UCP WILL NOT reign in these ideological idiots, they can approve what ever they want, the public, bylaws, zoning, viewscapes, arg land first, etc all mean NOTHING to the AUC. They can override them all to save the planet.

A piece of 1995 history that rarely gets talked about today. - When the 50th anniversary remembrance of WWII was at risk of being canceled in NYC, an unexpected intervention by a certain New Yorker changed everything. His name was Donald Trump.

According to @wearetherace, a meeting of technical experts and the FIA that is due to take place after the Japanese GP The hope is that modifications can be made to the rules that will remove any element of battery management influencing qualifying, so it can return to being a flat-out attack as it was in the past A reduction in battery deployment to 200kW would allow power to be delivered over more of a lap The races would remain unchanged

This interview with Jeff Rath, a constitutional lawyer, makes it clear that the Supreme Court of Canada has “Clearly Stated in the Succession Reference” that if Canada does not negotiate in good faith (they won’t. They never have) a province can declare a Unilateral Declaration of Independence. BOOM. THERE IT IS. SIGN THAT PETITION FOLKS! This is going to happen.

I had the chance to meet up with @JeffreyRWRath at the Stay Free Alberta event in Springbank last night(Mar 24). He shared his thoughts on how quickly this process could happen. This is exciting.

How many more times Premier Smith? You have done the due diligence. You tried to play by Ottawa's rules. You proved the futility of colouring within the lines. Time to look at other options.

You mean the pipeline route suggested by Jeffrey Rath and Dr. Dennis Modry during our last meeting with the US State Department in Washington in December that was briefed up to President Trump and Secretary of Treasury Bessant by the State Department? You mean the pipeline route that would fully open up the California and Pacific Rim markets to Alberta crude? You mean the route that caused David Eby and Dougie Ford to call me a traitor and Danielle Smith to send a note through her delegate in Washington to tell the Trump administration to stop meeting with actual Albertans? You mean the route that Danielle Smith stubbornly refuses to pursue in Washington DC because it would upset her little buddy Mark carney? You mean that pipeline route?

This is a positive and necessary step. Canada needs to take a serious look at how we appoint judges to the superior trial courts, courts of appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. These are foundational institutions, and the process should reflect the importance of public confidence, transparency, and regional input. Strong institutions depend on trust. Reforming the appointments process is part of how we build and maintain that trust.
Danielle Smith@ABDanielleSmith

Canada needs to reform how we appoint judges to the superior trial courts and courts of appeal of the provinces, as well as to the Supreme Court of Canada. I am joining with Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, Ontario Premier Doug Ford, and Quebec Premier François Legault, in writing to Prime Minister Mark Carney requesting a new, collaborative approach, wherein our governments can meaningfully engage in filling judicial positions in our respective jurisdictions. You really are a politician. get out of the way. Alberta next was a complete waste of time, adding questions to the independence referendum is nothing but a distraction and a middle finger to Albertans. Your UCP radio commercials are condescending and have no basis in reality.
