Look at the way the media covers American draft picks that don’t pan out vs foreign guys. Every American guy who doesn’t pan out is an indictment on American basketball and how flawed AAU ball is. When a foreign guy is a bust we don’t hear much about it

I say this every year, but the all-star game really used to be appointment TV, and 1993 was my favorite. I know this type of intensity is never coming back. Not asking for it. Just wanted to show people what it looked like when the 24 best players in the world actually competed.
