West Ham United can confirm that Michail Antonio is in a stable condition following a road traffic accident this afternoon in the Essex area. Michail is conscious and communicating and is currently under close supervision at a central London hospital. At this difficult time, we kindly ask everyone to respect the privacy of Michail and his family. The Club will make no further comment this evening, but will issue a further update in due course.

John Prescott was a giant of the Labour movement. As Deputy Leader and Deputy Prime Minister he served our party and our country with distinction. The Labour Party sends deepest condolences to Pauline, John’s family, and everyone who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.

Today marks three years since Sir David Amess was murdered whilst serving his constituents. David was an exemplary public servant and is much missed. My thoughts are with his family and friends. We will never forget him.

I'm late to this but West Ham removing concessions for most parts of the ground this season and charging £50 for the cheapest kids' ticket for the first game v Villa is disgraceful. For Villa's first home game against Arsenal, you can still find kids' tickets for £22.
