In Ukraine's Chernihiv region, Russians have again brought their culture, targeting the historic library in Novgorod-Seversky with drones. Eliminating Ukrainian language, history and culture in the same method that Russians have applied to every "Russian republic" over the centuries, has been a primary goal of Moscow.

In stark contrast to Ukraine, whose government and utilities companies have been working tirelessly since 2022 to keep citizens connected despite Russia's efforts

⚠️ Update: #Iran has now been offline for 100 hours. Metrics show internet connectivity flatlining at 1% of ordinary levels as the regional conflict escalates. The regime-imposed blackout is the second this year and follows the shutdown in January when thousands were killed.

@DSBatten Hey Dan, to be fair, the EarthTimes "about" page gives us no idea about their contributors nor their team, and their social links point to hashtags, not accounts. Searching for the author of the article gives us no clues to her background (or if she even exists) either.

JUST IN: Earthtimes became the 15th sustainability media company to cover Bitcoin's environmental benefits, saying: "Bitcoin mining can help grid operators maintain stability and may reduce reliance on fossil-fuel peaker plants... Moreover, monetizing otherwise wasted energy strengthens investment cases for renewable projects." Background: Earthtimes is a sustainability media company with a 100% trust score. The Shahed-136 one-way attack drone costs $20K per unit to produce. We need to develop solutions that cost 10% per unit to intercept them—as the Ukrainians have already done. Wild to think nobody seemingly paid attention until now.

Day 1467. We made it through the winter. Armed Forces of Ukraine stand, and Russians failed to break us - again. The world is fighting more wars, Russian invasion unleashed enormous security crisis. It all boils down to the will of ordinary people who shape history. We stand.

Today, I went online and checked news channels on Telegram, Twitter (X), and other sources-everything is literally overflowing with news about Iran, Israel, the US, and Dubai. It’s a new information wave crashing over the world, while Ukraine, for now, remains "behind the curtain." But today is the first day of spring, even though there is still snow on the ground. For us Ukrainians, this is a significant day on the calendar. One of the hardest winters in Ukrainian history has come to an end. It was truly difficult, dark, and cold. I wanted to share this moment: March 1st is the first day of spring, and in Ukraine, it feels special. It’s just a pity that war doesn't follow calendars.

@HannaNotte According to all available information, Khamenei was killed directly by Israel, not the US.

Russia views #Khamenei's killing as even worse than Gaddafi's in Libya - often cited as having had a profound impact on #Putin. Reason: Gaddafi was ultimately killed by Libyans (though intervention made it possible) Khamenei was killed directly by the US t.me/ru_global/32595

"We are all forced to live in the nightmare they create" No- you live in BARCELONA. If you actually want to understand what a nightmare feels like, €192 gets you a Flixbus to Kyiv where you can see for yourself the hell that Russia and Iran unleashes on your own continent.

Professor at two European universities who is apparently so blinded by his hatred of jews that he isn't aware of the daily bombing of Ukraine by Russia just 1800km from his office in Barcelona.
Jason Hickel@jasonhickel

Bombing Iran in the middle of negotiations, while starving Cuba, while genociding Palestinians, while threatening to invade Greenland… the US and Israel are the single greatest threat to humanity and it’s not even close. We are all forced to live in the nightmare they create.

The world's two rogue states, Israel and the USA, have started a war not against Iran but against the whole world. We stand with Iranians, with Humanity, against the notion that Israel and the US can bomb anyone their fancy takes them to bomb. aljazeera.com/news/liveblog/…

Probably should say this in English: the IOC saw “politics” in photos of murdered Ukrainian athletes. I was about to write a furious thread, but an air‑raid alert for Russian medium range ballistic missiles forced me to pause👇

One of the quiet victories aggressors seek is normalcy - the world moving on, names fading, and losses becoming background noise. A courage that refused to let the dead be erased for the comfort of the living took its toll. And in losing his place, he kept theirs.

@mobbs_mentality @United24media Yes. I guess they only saw the truncated video and decided to repost it without checking for the context (horrific if true). But really @United24media-use some common sense guys. Even if it were true, no defence minister would say it. Took me 10 mins to find the source to check.

@United24media This is horrific reporting, and completely inaccurate. I am very confused about why this channel would want to foment anger or despair in this way. His remarks were about finding ways to support Ukraine, and if stockpiles were empty, to give money to procure.
Tom Giuretis@TomGiuretis

People are suggesting Germany is out of weapons stockpiles based on a truncated quote from Pistorius today. I went and found the full press conference to check. That's not what he said at all:

@TomGiuretis @OksanaUkka The nasty ones are the ones who hate the other side and want outsiders to pick a side. In his case he tried to make a statement not permitted by the Olympic rulebook. But then he took the honourable way out by not participating at all. True sportsman after all !
