@libsoftiktok I would probably start a career in crime if I was guaranteed to get this judge if I got arrested.

Meet Nancy Brasel, the U.S. district judge who sentenced Feeding Our Future fraudster Abdul Abubakar Ali to ONLY 1 year in prison because he showed "genuine remorse" for his crimes.
Steals millions. Gets caught. Says sorry. Only gets 1 year in prison.
The “Justice” system

JUST IN: "Feeding our Future" fraudster Abdul Abubakar Ali sentenced to ONLY 1 year and 1 day in prison. Ali falsely claimed to have provided 1.3 MILLION meals and collected MILLIONS of dollars in reimbursement claims. How is this justice?!

@ScarletReeds We have to assume that Moreno, Thune and others are doing exactly what the other senators want. If that wasn't the case someone would blow the whistle. None have.
English

Let’s talk about Senator Bernie Moreno (R-OH):
Freshman Senator Bernie Moreno was presiding in the chair during the 3 a.m. voice vote that rammed through a partial DHS funding bill. The deal deliberately excluded new resources for ICE and key CBP enforcement.
But the “trapped by the gavel” line is a weak procedural excuse that doesn’t hold up well when the senator in question was presiding during a low-attendance, middle-of-the-night unanimous consent request on a high-profile, controversial bill.
Senator Mike Lee recently explained in a post that he didn't object because he received a call shortly before 2 a.m. saying a deal had materialized to pay everyone at DHS. He said he "had every reason to believe President Trump and House Republicans were on board" with the "possibly fleeting deal that required immediate action." He added: "Had I been told that neither President Trump nor the House GOP had assented, I would’ve objected immediately."
Say we believe him and that Barrasso (as the Whip) intentionally misled him to believe everything was fine with the bill, what's Moreno's excuse?
Moreno being in the chair with only a handful of people present gives him more, not less, opportunity to object or demand a recorded vote.
Silence = consent in UC procedure.
If he truly opposed the carve-out, the moment to say “I object” was right there.
Ohio: Hold him accountable. No more games on America's security.

@w_terrence Hey, for fun, why don't we rewrite history. We can tell the story like it should have been.

MSNBC’s Maria Teresa claims “When people see Barack Obama, they remember a time in America where there was unity. They remember a time when there was calm, when there was opportunity for their families.”
She contrasted Obama’s tone with Republicans, adding:
“The contrast between the hate that the Republicans on the MAGA side keep pushing, and someone who is calm and collected saying, we don’t have to be this way.”

English

Let me tell you exactly what Fox figured out in 1993.
Roger Ailes looked around and asked — who’s the threat?
Not Bill Clinton, the threat is Hillary Clinton.
They spent billions of dollars over decades destroying her narrative.
By the time she ran for president 51% of the country had a negative opinion of her before she said a word on the campaign trail.
That’s the playbook.
Now ask yourself — where’s the threat today? California.
The fourth largest economy in the world. Agriculture, Defense, Hollywood, Silicon Valley, AI. — which is literally the exportation of American culture globally.
A politician coming out of California from the left could beat the right decisively.
So what do you do?
Spend billions destroying the narrative around California.
Make it synonymous with crime and homelessness and radical politics.
Do it for two or three decades until the brand is toxic.
Newsom has an image problem today the exact same way Hillary had an image problem.
It was manufactured. Deliberately. Systematically.
English

@brucefenton What is your take on the Iranian nuclear threat? Do you think it's bogus or real. When they say they want to kill me and are developing the tools to do it, I tend to believe them. You apparently don't believe it. Please explain.
English

Trump wasn’t my first choice for the nomination. Or even the second or fourth choice. I liked Vivek, DeSantis, Bergum much more than Trump.
I couldn’t stand that he placed Fauci on the stage with him instead of in jail and that Trump pushed Operation Warp Speed. He had a bad record on liberty and was a big govt / big spender. He failed to drain the swamp his previous term and was a business grifter.
Once he won the nomination I supported him because I felt the alternative was worse.
English

I’m a Republican. I supported Trump. I raised money for him, I voted for him. I donated $60,000 to his campaign.
Trump lied. He rugpulled us all. I didn’t vote for Lindsey Graham / America Second policies.
You can disagree with me if you want. It’s your right to be fooled. But if you say I have “TDS” or am a “liberal” you need a new argument. There are millions of conservatives and members of the now torched “broad coalition” just like me.
The only ones left supporting him are MAGA always Trumpers who place the man above the policies and our country.

English

@MattWalshBlog We should NOT be enthusiastic about ANY war but most conservatives see the NECESSITY of what Trump is trying to do. When someone says they want to kill you, and they are in the process of developing the tools to do it, it's prudent to believe them and take defensive actions.
English

I’ve never seen such a disconnect between the commentary on this site and what I hear in the real world. I’ve talked to dozens of normal conservatives in real life about the Iran War and I haven’t met a single one who’s actually enthusiastically in favor of it. At best they’re warily optimistic. In most cases they’re opposed. In some cases they’re not only opposed but deeply furious. And yet here if you utter a word of criticism about the war you’ll be shouted down by throngs of alleged American conservatives who allegedly have wanted nothing more than for America to go to war with Iran. It just doesn’t reflect what I see on the ground. That’s not just cope because my position is unpopular with “my side.” I’ve held plenty of unpopular positions. I really don’t care. But in this case the social media vs real world divide is stark and unlike anything I’ve seen before.
English

@MPPregent I think Mike's view of the situation is very informative. It's hard to get objective information on Iran but Mike seems to have well based information and/or opinion.

Iran Regime Collapse Indicators: The system is under far more stress than it can publicly admit.
The newest signal is not just continued bombing; it is the combination of leadership decapitation, succession strain, repression at home, and pressure on Iran’s external network.
Iran confirmed today that IRGC Navy commander Alireza Tangsiri has died after an Israeli strike, adding to a list of senior political and military figures killed in recent weeks, including Ali Khamenei, Ali Larijani, Esmail Khatib, Mohammad Pakpour, and Basij commander Gholamreza Soleimani.
There are visible cracks between hardliners and more pragmatic factions, with the Guards taking a larger role and Mojtaba Khamenei still an untested "no proof of life" center of gravity.
The indicators I’m watching now:
Elite attrition is hitting regime continuity. This is no longer just battlefield degradation. It is loss inside the regime’s command structure, intelligence apparatus, internal security network, and strategic decision-making core.
The regime is turning inward aggressively. Iranian authorities arrested 466 people on March 24 over alleged online activity tied to “national security,” and state media has reported more than 1,000 such arrests over the month.
Today, Iran also executed two men accused of links to the opposition. That is classic regime behavior when leaders fear internal instability as much as external attack.
Succession remains a vulnerability, not a stabilizer. There are splits inside the ruling hierarchy were emerging after Khamenei’s death, with Mojtaba Khamenei seen as the Guards’ preferred candidate but still viewed as untested and divisive among moderates.
Strategic overreach is still driving escalation. Tehran rejected U.S. peace terms today as “unrealistic,” parliament is reviewing a possible exit from the NPT, and the Hormuz confrontation continues.
Those choices may preserve ideological coherence, but they also raise the cost of regime survival.
Iran’s regional depth is under pressure. Hezbollah is still fighting in support of Tehran, but Lebanon’s government has criticized Hezbollah’s entry into the war, banned its military wing, and ordered Iran’s envoy out before Tehran openly defied that order.
That is not collapse of the proxy system, but it is friction inside one of Iran’s most important external theaters.
Bottom line: this is not regime collapse yet. The Islamic Republic still retains coercive capacity, continues missile and drone attacks, and is relying on repression to keep the center from breaking.
The trend line is worsening: with leadership losses, succession uncertainty, mass arrests, executions, and proxy-system strain all appear at the same time, the regime begins to look less durable and more desperate.

@megynkelly Get out, hunker down, and wait for the nuclear blast. No thanks.

@SenJackReed The Senate vote would have stripped Border Patrol and ICE of any funding or authority to do their job. Total stupidity on Thune and republican senators.
English

@RepJohnRose @LeaderJohnThune I just sent a question to my senator Marsha Blackburn asking if she was aware of the vote Thune pushed through. If she was then my support for her is over. Some major changes need to happen in Senate leadership.
English

Don’t let anyone fool you into thinking the Senate’s dirty DHS deal was just @LeaderJohnThune — rank-and-file Republican senators were in on it too.
Any single Republican senator could have stopped the Thune/Schumer DHS deal, but not one did. Not a single one.
Republican senators knew leadership’s plan ahead of time, and they still left town knowing exactly what was coming at 3 a.m., while Americans were sleeping.

@defense_civil25 I become a little skeptical when someone says B-52 stealth bombers. Not much stealthy with the BUF.
English

🚨Update: B-52 stealth bombers have used bunker busters bombs to strike Iran’s main underground complex, but can’t penetrate’ Iran 1,444ft-deep missile storage and subway system!
This is Iran’s version of the US NORAD Cheyenne Mountain Complex (CMOC)! A massive underground military facility built inside a Mountain! Made of solid Granite, the mountain dead zone is higher than Empire State Building!
The US will have to send troops to secure or destroy the complex!!

English

@elonmusk Impressive stat. If we could get ambulance chasing lawyers out of the equation the world would benefit greatly.

@brithume This doesn't move any needle for me. This Iran "excursion" was an own goal by Trump and the most significant policy error in recent memory.

@GuntherEagleman In California that will probably be a plus for him.

@HanShawnity At this point fighting guns with clubs is probably not a good idea.

I'm trying to understand something about the Iranian people.
Just a few months ago you were slaughtered by the thousands for protesting and demanding your freedom.
You begged for help. Help came.
The US and Israel have been bombing Iranian regime targets mercilessly for weeks now.
Why aren't you rising up?
You won't get this opportunity again. It's now or never.
I'm not here to judge. I understand the regime consists of savages who wouldn't hesitate to murder thousands more. But they're killing you anyway, and if you really want your freedom like you say you do, now's the time.
Your future is up to you. You can't expect other people to do it for you.

The Jews have been mistreated by almost every country that they have ever inhabited. I think that their strong social closeness and financial success may explain it because of jealousy. I'm Christian and even Christians have mistreated Jews throughout history. October 7th was the most brazen attack since the Holocaust and perpetrated by sub humans.
English

So what brought me here? I’ve had an account since at least 2021 and only started really coming here since 2023.
Well, this is the only social media outlet in Canada that I am aware of where news can be shared.
On October 7th 2023, Israel underwent a brutal attack. So I came here to find out what was going on. What I saw was brutal beyond belief. The western world cheering on an attack against a peaceful people who have only ever assimilated to their societies and wanted to be left alone. On that day everything changed. It led to a rabbit hole of seeking out Jewish history to gain an understanding of the conflict.
I’ve become horrified with what’s become acceptable.
Today I officially got my blue check mark.
Follow me, I’ll follow back. Scammers and antisemites need not apply.
