@5054magazine Had my 15 plate Insignia passenger headlight in my airing cupboard last weekend as it had gradually filled with water from excess condensation. Re-sealed it and now condensation free. People need to want and try and keep cars going!

@TomPenny @5054magazine @IanKuah A coolant change on an EV? I’ve never had an electric car but that sounds like the manufacturer making work.

Has he seen the inside of an EV battery? Or the cooling and heating systems embedded in it? Or all tje control equipment?

@IanKuah @5054magazine Coolant changes aren’t cheap either. The 2nd service on an Ioniq 5 (4 years or 40k miles) is £500 due to the coolant needing to be changed.

@5054magazine Indeed. I hear this simplistic argument from EVangelists all the time. They have no idea just how complex the battery, its control systems and software are and how just minor damage to the battery from a misjudged speedbump or foreign object can write off an EV.

@au_tom_otive I waited 11 months for my Ioniq 5. Ordered Aug 24, I got it July’25. I still suspect the biggest delay was shoddy dealers and not the factory.

I appear to have ordered an electric car with a 5-6 month lead time. Genuinely thought we were past lead times that long, and also obliterates the myth that these things are piled up in fields crying out for buyers!

I really hope this isn't the last time we see this version of Fnatic. The year didn't end with a trophy but 3 back to back finals is very impressive. Contracts are up and this off season is looking crazier than usual but here's hoping we see them again #VALORANTChampions
