Pleased a majority of councillors in Glasgow voted to condemn UK Gov's intention to proscribe Palestine Action as terrorists as an unacceptable attack on the right to protest. There are already laws in place to punish illegal activities should they occur as part of a protest.

If Hamas had killed 7 Israelis inside of Israel this week, it would be one of the biggest stories in the world, & all over the US media.
But Israel killed 7 HUNDRED Palestinians this week, including almost 200 children, & yet there's little outrage from our politicians or media.

Bank of England source in the Times on Rachel Reeves: "She went from being a junior economist to being a professional economist” the source added. “She was fine, she wasn’t a high-flyer, but she was an economist". She was an economist. That's it. Literally what is the issue here.

@AmraWatson Yes, the Tories were awful. But Labour is callously attacking pensioners by removing #winterfuelpayment from those with more than £11.4k a year. And 700,000 with incomes below that will lose the money too because they haven't answered the 240 qus to apply for pension credit.

Excoriating condemnation of Labour Government's callous decision to end #winterfuelpayment for most pensioners. Last year was also £300 cost of living payment so pensioners losing £500 (£600 if over 80) while fuel bills rise. Also so far much worse winter.

Plus 700,000 with income of less than £11.4k but not claiming pension credit will lose #winterfuelpayment. Many of those live alone, have illness or disabilities. Pension credit form has 240 questions. People will get very ill or die as a result of cruel decision by Lab Gov.

Trump’s vote share is now at 49.9% with some votes still being counted. Looks like his margin over Harris will be around 1.5%- the third smallest winning margin since 1888.
Trump’s win was solid in the popular vote and electoral college. But it was not a landslide and it was not overwhelming.
