🚫 Essential maintenance closure 🚫 Cothabháil bhunúsach dúnadh Since 9am today (9/3) until 9am Thursday (12/3), The south runway (10R / 28L) has & will be closed for 72 hours to allow for essential maintenance which includes pavement works, line painting and grass management. These repairs are vital to the safe and efficient operation of aircraft at Dublin Airport - In recent months, a high volume of rain has degraded the S ‘Sierra’ taxiway with some other spots needing repairs also. Throughout this period, the north runway (10L / 28R) will be used for takeoff and landing in single runway ops. @pistolpackinjo Sorry just saw this - there are a number of outlets after pre clearance so I tend to get it after there, plus sometimes you have to go through US security so it’s easier if you haven’t got before, it gets pretty busy in the area through there though just as a warning

@AerLingus my husband and I are about to fly on your airline to Dublin and I am very worried after reading posts on X about horrible experiences. Also when my husband called to talk to customer service he was put on hold for over an hour and then spoke with someone in India!

@pistolpackinjo No worries - the staff are really friendly normally and service reliable, if coming back through Dublin to the US the pre clearance saves a ton of time too

@TomVoaden Hey Tom! Its hard to tell what disruption will be caused until tomorrow when I see how flights do, winds are due to be strong tomorrow hence the chance of some delays if not cancellation on regional flights
