@PompeyGH @pn_jordan_cross 1 signing could be expensive and crap .. I understand your point but I don’t think it is practical. With our injury record we’d be left with the back up player anyway.

@Tom_Atkins96 @pn_jordan_cross Hence why I said utilise the loan market and even free agents for cover. If that’s all we can afford. How many games did Le Roux start over veteran Marlon Pack. Was that good business to you? How many did Kirk start over bishop? All 4 signings were crap. Point proven.

@pn_jordan_cross Yet we signed Le Roux, kosnovsky, Kirk and Knight. Huge waste of money. should’ve been spent on 1 decent CM (Mattson) and a much better striker. the budget is crap but we are better off slowly building quality additions and getting better players on loan then wasting on 5 risks.

At the local elections, voter turnout nearly doubled in some of the wards Restore Britain stood in. We are not splitting the vote. We are reaching voters who have otherwise checked out of politics because they - like us - are sick to death of the rotten political establishment.

That’s exactly what a politician who did arrange for this to be filmed would say.
Andy Burnham@AndyBurnhamGM

@JamesMelville They doorstepped me! I can assure you I wouldn’t arrange for this to be filmed. 😂

@JakePompeySmith @wayneharrispfc Banter is fine. But taking the piss out of a disability however minor you consider it to be is a slippery slope. Maybe if you’re mates but not as an opponent.

@wayneharrispfc What an extremely poor take. So it’s okay to mock another player’s disability in your view? Also interested to know why you’ve deleted your other tweet which insinuated Ayling was using this as an “advantage”?

Moan about the pettiest thing these days Storm in a teacup with this Harwood-Bellis/Ayling banter As if no player as ever taken the mick in past Just taking the opportunity there on this occasion "Hurty words". He's a seasoned pro and in the past he's just shrugged it off

Being bad at cheating doesn’t void the point of cheating.
nigel robbins@nigelrobbins69

@_WokeNonsenseFC Also They drew 0-0 first leg If they wanted promotion again it’s this simple should have won the game Now if “spying “ took place It did not affect the second Southampton goal Which clearly beat defenders and the goal keeper Again it’s that simple

😳 "50% of your revenue next year to Middlesbrough." 👀 "You should have to pay a severe and heavy price." James Corden suggests a heavy punishment for Southampton's Spygate scandal.

@scottjack79 @henrywinter It was even Steven’s going into the second leg. You took the lead in the tie. The difference in the end was the fitness levels. You guys fell off a cliff in the second half and we had the energy to keep pushing. That ultimately won us the tie

Southampton have always been a club that did things the right way. Attractive football, long history, loyal and vocal support, important community department, good atmosphere at the Dell and St Mary’s, develop talent, even a great cat at the training ground. A sound club. A touch of class. So as they head to Wembley, and deservedly so as they were better than Boro on the night, perhaps those who run the club and run the football side consider how to restore the club’s reputation.  Because a club who many neutrals had a soft spot for risk becoming hard to like. Some Southampton fans will not worry about what others think of them. But they should. They are currently associated with cheating - Spygate - and for allegations of discriminatory language on the pitch (which have yet to be proven). That’s not what Southampton are about.  Their head coach, Tonda Eckert, rightly earned plenty of praise for his inspirational work this season but risks coming across as charmless at times. Interesting that Boro’s coach, Kim Hellberg, in his Sky Sports interview, congratulated Southampton players and supporters but not their coach. Southampton have gained a shot at the Premier League - any Spygate sanctions permitting - but lost some respect. Saints’ board and Eckert now have to work out how to restore that good reputation. And pray that the independent disciplinary commission does not punish them severely and swiftly for Spygate. As many people want them to. #SaintsFC #SOUMID

😂🍪 This dude just walked out of a job interview and immediately recorded this in his car. He knew the “biggest weakness” question was coming… brain completely short-circuited… and instead of the safe “I care too much” answer, he hit them with: “Oreos. I’ll eat ‘em until the milk’s gone. Could be two, could be twelve.” The way he says it with that deadpan delivery and then just accepts his fate is SENDING me. Man, I genuinely feel bad for the guy… but I’m also dying laughing. We’ve ALL had that one moment in an interview where your brain just yeets itself out the window. Kid’s still out here job hunting. Somebody hire this absolute legend before he stress-eats the entire Oreo aisle. Who else has completely bombed a “what’s your weakness” question?

@joemichalczuk The issue with a GE is there isn’t anything much plausible on the table. We are out of options and the future looks pretty bleak.

Downing Street may as well install a revolving door at this point. Six Prime Ministers in seven years is a complete joke. Every time that podium is wheeled out, the British public gets the same old bollocks repeated by yet another failed chancer in a suit. Now we’re facing the exact same Westminster circus all over again - except this time Labour are wearing the clown suits. Remember when they all boasted about the peace and stability they’d deliver? All while Britain crumbles around us. Starmer has been hopeless, but what’s even more depressing is the complete lack of quality behind him. Nobody waiting in the wings looks remotely capable of turning the country around - if anything Ang, Wes, Andy & Red Ed would send it tumbling into more chaos. Britain needs a General Election and a leader who actually believes in something - instead of this endless cycle of decline.

This is incredible
Reid Wiseman@astro_reid

Only one chance in this lifetime… Like watching sunset at the beach from the most foreign seat in the cosmos, I couldn’t resist a cell phone video of Earthset. You can hear the shutter on the Nikon as @Astro_Christina is hammering away on 3-shot brackets and capturing those exceptional Earthset photos through the 400mm lens. @AstroVicGlover was in window 3 watching with @Astro_Jeremy next to him. I could barely see the Moon through the docking hatch window but the iPhone was the perfect size to catch the view…this is uncropped, uncut with 8x zoom which is quite comparable to the view of the human eye. Enjoy.

@PompeyPedro @AndyRHT Think it’s almost a good thing we got spanked by QPR. Clearly a mentality shift in the team to deliver what they have since!

A remarkable run of results after being molested 6-1 by mid table QPR. Enormous mentality needed to turn that result into this run. Credit for that goes firstly to John Mousinho’s management and secondly to the players, who didn’t let their heads drop. 📸: @AndyRHT
