@AmericanAir @CiaraBaxendale Obviously you can't guarantee a nut-free flight, but you can politely suggest people don't release life-threatening allergens into the air when you know there is a seriously at-risk passenger on board. What possible reason is there not to do that?

@CiaraBaxendale We can’t guarantee a nut free flight, and strongly encourage those with allergies to take all necessary medical precautions before flying.

@AmericanAir staff on flight AA105 from LDN to NYC refused to make an announcement for passengers to refrain from eating nuts on flight. My sister has a SEVERE allergy and carries an epipen. Air-Bourne allergens can kill. Why did staff refuse to help?? Take allergies seriously!
