I became a clone. A clone of everyone around me. I was trying to stand out, doing the same thing everyone else was doing. Afraid to share my real thoughts. Afraid to show who I really am. It's time for a change. Here's how I plan to stand out: 🧵

@Samkoiv Oh man, I hate this. "Write a review of this book for 10 pages minimum" Sure. Please wait while I run it through ChatGPT 10 fucking times to stretch it enough.

@BrynnBernsdorf Awesome post man! It's too easy to forget that everyone struggles, when all we see are wins.

I’m fucking tired of it. Everyone is sharing their wins. “I signed 10 clients” “I made 10K within 14 days” “I got 1M impressions 21 days” But you know what I wanna see? How many times you fucked up… How many of your posts flopped… How badly you wanted to give up… How you fucked up your first inbound DM… How you dug yourself out of hopelessness… And I’ll be the one to say it. Signing 10 clients isn’t relatable. But the scrappiness it took to get there? That’s what I live for. From rags to riches. And don’t forget, we all started from rags. > 0 Skills > 0 Followers >0 Idea what we’re doing Because… You can’t have sweet without sour. You can’t have highs without lows. You can’t finish without starting. Your experience is worth more than your wins. So for anyone feeling like they are ‘behind’ Just remember they aren’t showing you what's behind the curtain. You can do it. We can do it.

@lifestyleameer This is so small and so big at the same time Everytime I'm feeling off, the first question I ask myself is: "Did you drink enough water?" Game changer.

I’m officially evolved. Finally hit the upper echelons of character development. How do I know? Because even on the worst days of my life-- I had one thought running through my head. ‘This is good. This shitshow will teach me something" Who is she???

I was at the doctor. Staring silently, as she typed in my ailments. "Click". "Click". "Click" Using only her index fingers, attacking the keyboard violently with each letter. 1 minute turned to 2. 2 minutes turned to 5. That's when, in the defeaning silence, it hit me. "How much time is she wasting? If only she could type properly, I would be out of here 5 minutes ago, and we would both benefit from it" Don't be like her. Don't waste time. If your job includes writing (and if you're reading this - it does) Learn to write properly (meaning - fast). It's easy. It's free. And it's fun. Just 15 minutes a day can save you tremendous amounts of time in the long run.

I couldn't get myself to write another tweet. I was sitting in front of the screen. My head full of thoughts, and at the same time - completely empty Conflicting feelings fighting colossal battles in my mind. And yet - I couldn't move my fingers an inch. I was about to do something crazy. Something everyone warns against. I took a week off. And... despite feeling guilty at first... I don't regret it at all. - I got to spend time with my family - I journaled a lot, clearing my mind of the fog. - I did the things I love, (that I deprived myself of because of the "grind") remebering why I started. And right now, I have more energy than ever. Resistance is your body telling you to slow down, refocus, and get clear on your goals. Listen to it. In the end, consistency doesn't matter, if you aren't doing what you truly want.

Quick tip to everyone trying to fit engaging into a busy schedule: (I'm ashamed I didn't think of this sooner) You've got 1-3 minutes between every set in the gym. I'll leave you with that. (Guess where I'm writing this from...)

Making the first step is supposed to be the hardest But sometimes I feel like figuring out the next one is much harder.

Bad habit I found myself doing: Procrastinating by working. You feel productive, cause it looks like you're working. But the leverage is so low, you might as well be chilling in a bathtub with a glass of red wine. Start defining work by output x leverage.

Brandon Storey | Copywriting Coach
In 2018... I was just like you. At one point in time... I didn't have a skill chosen. Even when I found copywriting... I still didn't know how to monetize. Even when I made my first dollar online... I didn't know when I'd crack $1,000/month. Even when I hit $1,000/month from copywriting... I had no idea when I'd reach a six-figure income. But... It's now been 5 years since I quit my job and went all in on copy. And, I can tell you this: You're always going to have doubts. You're always going to question whether or not it's going to work out. The only difference between you and me is time. The more you level up, the quieter those doubts become. • You will be able to quit your job • You will make writing work • You will succeed Although it's hard to navigate through the dark right now... The path gets a little bit brighter with each step you take forward. Before you know it, you'll open your eyes and everything will be different. You'll have: • More time • More money • More autonomy And most of all, more freedom. Keep moving. Keep learning. Keep building. In the blink of an eye, you'll arrive.

I got to help dad today I learned a lot about: → Painting → Labour work → and about dad He’s tried hard his whole life. Always loved me but didn’t express himself well. I didn’t always follow his rules or saw things his way. Yet he's accepted me for me - So i’m doing everything to retire him. I love you, Dad. Sorry for the hard times - I appreciate you endlessly.
