@Tomackze Personally, not really. I'm always drafting BPA regardless of what team I'm controlling.
However, the strategy can change based on the length of the rebuild I'm doing.
In shorter rebuilds, I will shift my priority towards more high-floor, slightly lower-ceiling prospects

@donusty @ernestdove MJ still has one option left. Tauchman i think signed a minor league but can opt for free agency. That's why I think Tauchman gets the nod and DFA and struggles. Then MJ unless Benge murders AAA and forces us.

Absolutely. There is also a massive risk in taking players who are far below 50% since you will have a limited number of chances to sign them
The good news is that NR pitchers are usually highly motivated and cheap so you can sign them at a bargain and offer more for the lower % players who need some more financial persuasion lol

Just like the user, the CPU has its own draft board, has 3 scouts, and does weekly scouting.
However, the CPU drafts entirely based on the BPA of their board. This is why you often see players go earlier than expected: The CPU scouted them
