Here's the Cybertruck this morning with the same failure to complete the left turn and turning into the shoulder while on FSD. This isn't a confusing intersection. It's a standard 4 way intersection with a crosswalk in front of a school.

(reads up on California legal code) Huh... I sit corrected. Turns out that in California, lanes can be separated by a solid white line, and in my situation, both are indeed viable lanes for vehicles. It is only strongly recommended to use the left-most lane in this situation, but the law doesn't require it. Nor is it illegal to cross a single solid white lane marker (I learned something new today!) So @TeslaTravelstx is not necessarily wrong, but FSD should choose the left-most lane when possible. That is not deniable. Thank you all for the opportunity to become more educated!

@TeslaTravelstx @mahkus How does a human do it correctly? Pretty sure they don't use solid white lines to separate lanes like that. I personally would never choose the right lane in this situation. Would you?

@TechOperator Learn to spell. I own one, of course Corolla HBD. The bats are smaller and cheaper... 5k to replace, and have a 10yr 150k mile free replacement warranty. TSLA (and no one else) matches that.

On March 12, 2026, Honda announced it was canceling the development and launch of three planned North American EV models. Nissan, Volkswagen, and Volvo also saw U.S. sales decline in Q1 2026 after canceling EV programs and models. This is the death knell of legacy auto. Instead of investing and disrupting, they are pulling back. When the industry shifts, they will be left behind, especially by Chinese automakers. I do not believe many of these cars ever stood a chance. The styling, range, and technology were outdated at introduction and would have fallen further behind by the time they hit the market. At the same time, I am rooting for American auto, Tesla and Ford in particular. Although Ford canceled the F150 Lightning and Mustang Mach-E, they understand they cannot just add an electric motor to a gas car and make a compelling EV. Massive consolidation and disruption in the auto industry are on the horizon. Many companies will go the way of Kodak and Blockbuster, thinking they are too big to fail. And we will all be better off in the end.

@mahkus I dont know that I would say thats a standard intersection. Yes its a standard 4 way stop but that shoulder is an entire lane wide, with a forward arrow in it and no hash marks, that is clearly what is confusing FSD.

Yay! Somebody posted a video of what all of my AI4 cars have been doing since V13!!! This exact scenario happens when I turn left out of my neighborhood 100% of the time if there's no lead car in front of me, in which case it plays follow the leader. For the last, what, 10 updates, I've been hoping hoping hoping... Ain't fixed yet! The funniest part is that if there's people behind me, they play follow the leader with me!🤣

It's funny to see all the Tesla influencers hyping the new FSD versions when both our vehicles with FSD routinely fail at making basic left turns and turning into shoulders.

@SDembraski Don't use one, but I keep a microfiber cloth on all of my tesla arm rests. Fingerprints take exactly 2 seconds to wipe off every other day or so. Never noticed any scratches in mine.

Ive had multiple Tesla's. I have never put a screen protector on. I honestly haven't seen the need for it. I wanted to ask others out there. Do you have a screen protector on your main screen? If so is it worth it?

@wholemars When I got my Tesla last year, I really wanted to use FSD all the time. But my “Tesla FSD” stress level dropped significantly when I learned to take over “whenever I feel like it”: parking, getting out of blind spots, forcing a reroute. 97% FSD is more relaxing than 99% FSD.

Fuck. Just ruined my streak. Wanted to get on the highway sooner instead of taking the surface street and just took over without thinking about it. The shitty part is the route was selectable on the screen if I had just thought ahead. Need to train myself to just sit there if I want to be a serious player in this streak game
