@AlexVolloFPL YES! I want the outcomes to be definitive. I am watching a game hoping or not hoping for a player to get defcons, but it just feels random when tackles etc. isn't black-and-white. I enjoyed the game a lot more when it was goals, assists, clean sheets...

Not saying Saka's DEFCONs are rigged, but that's two games in a row where a pressure-led turnover was logged as a recovery. I've got a lot of respect for human-coded data, but in FPL these tiny tagging errors add up across 38 GWs. And the only reason people love this feature is because they're either not watching the games or not paying attention to defensive contributions. People lost their minds when Solly March didn't get a goal even though he touched the ball, but honestly we lose way more points every week from mis-tagged DEFCONs. Also, the idea that the player pool is "bigger" now because defenders can score DEFCONs doesn't really hold up. When one specific profile of defenders gets prioritised, another profile gets pushed out, the pool doesn't expand, it just shifts. Look at how front-foot, high-duel defenders are now in demand, while possession-first or low-duel defenders have basically disappeared from teams. That's not a bigger pool, it's just a new bias.

@lfcgerrard17 @FPL_Harry @SimboGuyborn It makes a bit of sense, as we are often looking at the expected stats as well, not only the outcome. 4 out of 5 times he is expected to score that penalty. He did not even "miss" the pen, keeper dived the right way.
