But I think in 100 years that have passed since, and we likely have the technology to build safe hydrogen airships too.

@MrRCain2 But they don't! I can count on one hand the number of evening networking events I've been to in the British Isles which don't have alcohol.

People complaining about this. First, plenty of workplaces have bars or a drinks cabinet for people to have a drink in the evening epsecially if they need to wait around: the armed forces, banks, law firms. Second, bars in Parliament are for staff as for members. Third, there are two pubs next to the Parliamentary estate where they can have a drink anyway. They do visit but going somewhere safer is sometimes nicer.

The US are attacking China's oil and gas supply. Yeah, we all know China's energy consumption is diverse and reserves are huge — not the point and not enough. These are acts of war and a national security threat. The fact neither China nor Russia seem to ever respond is why the West become emboldened and continue.

The US has used its "ceasefire" with Iran to reorganize and rearm... It has also used it to further expand what is already a global maritime blockade being illegally imposed on Russia, Iran, and ultimately China (and will expand to include any nation in between as this global conflict escalates). A recent illegal seizure by the US of an Iranian ship supposedly on its way back from China was not only conducted as part of this - but is being used to build a narrative to escalate further against China directly. Elsewhere, the US continues its control of Venezuela and its blockade and threats toward Cuba in the Americas, its war on Russia through Ukraine and the rest of Europe, and is openly preparing to restart direct war on Iran itself in the Middle East. All of this is ultimately aimed at China and the multipolar world its rise has facilitated in recent years. However, just because these are the US' plans and they continue moving forward doesn't mean they are succeeding or will succeed. This will depend on China, Russia, Iran and many other nations across the multipolar world organizing against US aggression. The increasingly rushed and open nature of US aggression is being forced by the rapid rise of multipolarism in the first place - and the reality that the US is quickly running out of time to re-impose primacy - if it even can. Do not mistaken patience and a desire to avoid or at least put off for as long as possible a direct confrontation with the US with ignorance of the danger the US poses or a lack of will or ability to confront it. Russia, China, and Iran have spent decades staying ahead of US efforts to undermine and subordinate them as well as decades building up the necessary means to defend themselves amid what they all must have realized was an inevitable clash once US primacy began to decline. Keep all of this in mind amid this temporary pause.

“The United States is constructing a massive global oil blockade against Russia and China” The thesis this video puts forward is the most coherent and convincing rebuttal to the insistence that the US “has no plan” or “is being controlled by Israel”. Worth a watch.

The cargo arrived by truck from the UK. It was supposed to fly to Tel Aviv on a Challenge Airlines flight. Belgian customs stopped it after NGOs tipped them off about irregularities in the manifest. Why? Because Belgium has a ban on military equipment transiting to Israel. These items lacked the required permits. So they were seized. On the spot.
