My car is very similar to one used by unmarked police. It's a BMW estate with tinted rear windows. Sometimes I like to drive at 65mph and watch cars slam their brakes on as they approach, while I pretend to be undercover motorway patrol.

@NoNonsenseND My mum always threatened me with being taken in to care or a hospital i’d have to stay in until I got better at behaving. 70’s Britain parenting. I’d like to think things are better now but they really aren’t. We’re still shunned, belittled and ignored. Ignore and move on I say.

@NoNonsenseND And sometimes those emotions are delayed, minutes, hours and even days, that why even we don’t understand our reactions.

Whether we like the term "asperger's" or not the message here is true. Also, sometimes we have emotional overreactions, like feeling profoundly sad over something minor or getting frustrated very easily from overstimulation. And shutting down can happen with good feelings too.
